Volunteers
Did you know volunteers are an integral part of hospice care? Carolina Hospice Care Volunteers are trained and caring individuals who are available to help support our patients and their families. Other than a generous heart, you don’t need any special skills to be a hospice volunteer as we provide the training. Just bring a willingness to give of your time and share your talents with others.
Activities in which our volunteers participate with our clients include:
- Pet Therapy
- Life review projects
- Assist with letter writing
- Scrapbooking
- Playing games
- Give Respite Care
- Reading to the patient
- Provide Companionship
- Sharing hobbies – music & art
In addition to working directly with our patients and families, Administrative volunteers opportunities are available
Administrative volunteer activities may include:
- Clerical support
- Preparing Informational packs
- Assist with mailings
- Filing and duplication services
- Phone calls
- Delivering promotional materials or gifts
We will help you find a volunteer experience that is truly rewarding!
