Volunteers

Did you know volunteers are an integrated part of hospice care?  Carolina Hospice Care Volunteers are trained and caring individuals who are available to help support our patients and their families.  You don’t need any special skills to be a hospice volunteer we provide training.  Just bring a willingness to give of your time and share your talents with others.
Carolina Hospice Care values our dedicated volunteers, and our volunteers tell us that helping others actually benefits them:

What a joy to bring comfort and companionship to our wonderful patients. They are so grateful, but really, the gratitude is mine, because my life has been enhanced immeasurably”.      Kay P,  Mt. Pleasant

I have developed wonderful friendships through spending time in conversation with people and being warmly accepted into their homes.  I have found my volunteer time to be a genuinely gratifying experience for me”.  Carl P, Beaufort
